*Filled* Vacancy for Apprentice Machine Shop Engineer

New position for an Apprentice Machine Shop Engineer to train on lathes, milling machines, vertical and horizontal borers, in our large, modern machining facility. 

13- or 24-month term depending on current level of qualification and experience.

Some mechanical engineering experience is preferred (including hobby, school etc).

Candidates must have grades C or above in English, Maths, and ICT, or equivalent Functional Skills qualifications, to apply.

Candidates should also be able to demonstrate an enthusiastic interest in mechanical engineering and machining, excellent punctuality, commitment to achieving the required qualifications, and a strong work ethic.

39 hours per week Monday to Friday; At least one day per week at college.
