| Its TeesComponents is still looking for her first win after the ground was too firm at Newcastle in February and she needs a bit more education in changing pace and approaching jumps. Hopefully she can develop in these areas before next season. | |

![]() Tees Components(1996, GB) (Risk Me - Lady Warninglid (Ela-Mana-Mou)) We were all saddened at the loss of this special horse in December 2006. His career started with his first win in 1999 over 2 miles at Wetherby, which would become his favourite course, and he went on to perform at Doncaster, Newcastle and Kelco. In 2001 he had a great win at Chepstow ahead of favourite Calling Brave, and came a close second to Our Armageddon a year later at Newcastle over hurdles. "A big scopey horse","a high class recruit to hurdling" and "a horse with a very sizeable engine" were just some of the descriptions he collected from the Racing Post. After a leg injury he made a remarkable comeback, at the age of 11, with a fantastic win at 50-1 at Haydock in September 2006, which anyone who backed him that day will remember from a long time, and followed that by coming second to Juniper Girl at York, "conceeding the best part of two stone to the winner". A fine horse who will be remembered. |
