Its TeesComponents is still looking for her first win after the ground was too firm at Newcastle in February and she needs a bit more education in changing pace and approaching jumps. Hopefully she can develop in these areas before next season.

We would like to welcome our new arrival to the Tees Components family! Our Tees Component has had a colt foal, born on 6th May 2008, Suggestions for names are welcome.

Tees Components(1996, GB) (Risk Me - Lady Warninglid (Ela-Mana-Mou))

We were all saddened at the loss of this special horse in December 2006. His career started with his first win in 1999 over 2 miles at Wetherby, which would become his favourite course, and he went on to perform at Doncaster, Newcastle and Kelco. In 2001 he had a great win at Chepstow ahead of favourite Calling Brave, and came a close second to Our Armageddon a year later at Newcastle over hurdles. "A big scopey horse","a high class recruit to hurdling" and "a horse with a very sizeable engine" were just some of the descriptions he collected from the Racing Post. After a leg injury he made a remarkable comeback, at the age of 11, with a fantastic win at 50-1 at Haydock in September 2006, which anyone who backed him that day will remember from a long time, and followed that by coming second to Juniper Girl at York, "conceeding the best part of two stone to the winner". A fine horse who will be remembered.
