TEES COMPONENTS HISTORY

Tees Components was founded in 1963. The company started its life in Spring Street, Stockton. In October of 1964 the company took over the old North Skelton mine site and that is where it has remained ever since.

Over the last forty years the company has developed the six acre site into one of the UK's most comprehensive heavy engineering facilities. This has been brought about by consistent and progressive management strategies.

One of the company's founding principles was to have a very active training programme.
This philosophy has borne rich rewards over the last four decades and the company has a majority of employees who have remained with the company following their apprentice training.

Many of these trainees have further benefited from the policy of promoting from within wherever possible.

The company has also maintained a strategy of consistent investment in modern manufacturing technology.
